Houston is a food mecca. Houston Women’s March has teamed up with area restaurants where women are leaders in and outside the kitchen to feature special commemorative tasting menus. Click here for area participants.
Houston has one of the hottest food scenes in America, and women have always led the way. Whether "Mama Ninfa" (pictured above, courtesy of the Houston Chronicle) who cultivated Houston's original "Tex-Mex" taste buds, to the female chefs and restauranteurs today who bring us Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, and even (gasp!) Californian cuisine.
RSVP on this page for our "Dine-Around Town" with some of Houston's most interesting female chefs, and we'll respond with a list of restaurants catering to the Sisters of 77 and their companions this Saturday night. Good food, good fun, and a good cause - let's celebrate women who are changing the food landscape in Houston!
